About Green Plate

Joyful, colorful plant-based cooking

Plants at the center of every plate, with bright color, real texture, and flavors that feel generous.

The kitchen

Vegetables first, seasoning generous

I build recipes around the plants on the plate, then let their color and texture do the talking. I shop the farmer market for what is ripe that week and let the produce set the direction of each dish.

The goal is everyday wholesome meals: approachable techniques, simple kitchen tools, and enough seasoning to make vegetables the star. Whole foods matter here, but there are no strict dieting rules.

The method

Three stages before a recipe is published

01

Cook it plain

Each recipe is first cooked with the ingredients as written, so the core flavors and textures are clear before any changes.

02

Season for balance

Acid, salt, and herbs get adjusted until the vegetables taste bright and generous rather than flat.

03

Cook it again

A final pass checks timing, simple kitchen tools, and whether the recipe holds up for an ordinary weeknight.
